Application
- Agriculture: Used as a chloride-free fertilizer delivered via soil, foliar spray, or fertigation to supply plants with nitrogen and potassium.
- Pyrotechnics & Explosives: Acts as a strong oxidizer in fireworks, rocket propellants, and traditional black gunpowder.
- Oral Care: Included in specific sensitive toothpastes to calm nerves inside teeth and stop sharp pain from hot or cold foods.
- Food Preservation: Utilized as a curing agent (saltpeter) to preserve and color processed meats.
- Industrial & Manufacturing: Used in making chemical glass, removing tree stumps, and serving as a thermal storage fluid in solar power plants.
Packaging
25KGS/BAG or 50KGS/BAG
Storage
Environmental conditions: Cool (avoid high temperatures), dry (prevent moisture absorption and caking), and well-ventilated;
Container requirements: Strictly sealed to prevent exposure to moisture or airborne impurities;
Incompatibilities: Must be stored separately or only with stable nitrates; storage or transport with reducing agents (e.g., sulfur, phosphorus), acids, flammable materials, organic substances, or metal powders is strictly prohibited;
