Application

• Pulp and Paper Industry: In the treatment of papermaking wastewater, polyaluminum chloride effectively removes pollutants such as suspended solids, pulp fibers, and surfactants, thereby reducing COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) and BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand).
• Chemical Industry: Wastewater generated during chemical production processes often contains pollutants such as acids, alkalis, salts, and metal ions; polyaluminum chloride effectively removes these contaminants through flocculation, thereby reducing water pollution.
• Food Industry: In wastewater treatment for food processing sectors such as sugar refineries and distilleries, polyaluminum chloride (PAC) is effective at removing suspended solids, color, and oils/fats.
• Paper Production: During paper manufacturing, PAC serves not only as a flocculant for wastewater treatment but also facilitates pulp purification and wastewater recycling within the production process.
• Food and Beverage Industry: PAC is primarily used in the food and beverage industry for clarification and the removal of insoluble matter, particularly during the production of fruit juices, beverages, and other liquid food products. In fruit juice production, it removes suspended particles, turbidity, and certain soluble substances, resulting in a clearer product. When used to clarify beverages, PAC removes impurities and pigments, thereby improving the product’s appearance and mouthfeel.
• In the agricultural sector, polyaluminum chloride (PAC) is primarily used for soil amendment and the purification of irrigation water. It can be used to adjust soil acidity, thereby improving the growing environment for crops and increasing agricultural yields. In irrigation water treatment, PAC effectively removes suspended solids and bacteria, ensuring the cleanliness of the water.
• In the petrochemical industry, PAC is widely used during oil refining to remove impurities and moisture, thereby enhancing oil quality. It is utilized for the dehydration of petroleum products, removing water content to improve product quality.
