Application
- Soap and Detergent Manufacturing: Turns fats and oils into solid or liquid soap through the process of saponification.
- Drain and Oven Cleaning: Dissolves grease, hair, and stubborn food carbonization in household and industrial clog removers.
- Paper and Pulp Production: Breaks down raw wood chips to extract pure cellulose fibers and removes ink during paper recycling.
- Aluminum Processing: Purifies bauxite ore to extract aluminum via the Bayer process.
- Water Treatment: Controls water acidity and helps remove heavy metals in municipal facilities.
- Food Processing: Cures traditional foods like olives, skins tomatoes for canning, and gives pretzels their dark brown crust and crisp bite.

Storage
Storage conditions: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area; keep the temperature below 35°C and relative humidity at or below 80%–85%.
Container sealing: Packaging must be completely sealed to prevent moisture absorption and deterioration caused by absorbing carbon dioxide.
Separate storage: Store separately from acids, flammable or combustible materials, and metal powders; do not store together.
