Application
- Chemical Production: Used in the chlor-alkali process to make chlorine, sodium hydroxide (caustic soda), and soda ash, which build plastics, paper, and bleach.
- Water Softening: Cleans resin beds in industrial and commercial water systems by removing calcium and magnesium ions.
- Oil and Gas Drilling: Controls well pressure, stabilizes shale formations, and acts as a key additive in drilling fluids.
- Textiles and Dyes: Fixes and helps absorb colors evenly into fabrics during industrial dyeing operations.
- De-icing and Snow Removal: Lowers the freezing point of water to melt ice on roads, bridges, and airport runways.
- Metal Processing: Functions as a flux to help separate impurities during metal smelting and refining.
- Soap and Detergent: Salting-out agent used to separate soap from water and glycerin during production.
Packaging
25KGS/BAG or 50KGS/BAG
Storage
Environmental requirements: Relative humidity ≤50% (optimal); temperature 15–30°C (room temperature is sufficient; avoid high-temperature heat sources).
Packaging condition: Keep the seal intact (film-coated woven bags or composite film bags); replace immediately if damaged. Once opened, use the contents promptly or tightly reseal the opening.
Segregation requirements: Keep away from oxidizing agents, acids, and materials susceptible to moisture contamination; do not store or transport together with goods that could cause contamination.
